My husband and I moved back to our home state of Massachusetts five years ago, and we’ve loved living in Plymouth and enjoying everything the town has to offer.
On a recent trip to the Cape, I stopped at Trader Joe’s. As I walked through the store, I found myself thinking how wonderful it would be to have a Trader Joe’s here in Plymouth. Curious, I asked the manager about the chances of getting a store in Plymouth. I was surprised by the response: “We tried to come to Plymouth before, but we were met with resistance. For that reason, we probably won’t try again”.
I was encouraged to read about “Yes on Charter Change”. I believe we can all agree that making our town more affordable, welcoming, and forward-looking requires an openness to change. More importantly, it requires action.
While I have never been involved in local politics, I care deeply about Plymouth and want to do whatever I can to help make it the best community possible for all residents.
