About the Education section

A public education system is the bedrock of any community, which makes it an important component of the Plymouth Independent. The education section provides a forum for news about Plymouth’s schools, and for students’ voices on issues that matter to them. It’s also place for creative writing; a way to get the work of talented young writers to wider audience. Our definition of education also includes private schools, of course, as well as any kind of educational program or service that involves any age group. If you’ve got a story idea, or would like to submit a piece of writing connected to a class you’re taking, email us at education@plymouthindependent.org.
