Plymouth is a large and complex town, and it is often difficult for a citizen to piece together all the information needed to understand how our tax dollars are spent. You may not be happy with the amount of taxes you pay but knowing where the money goes at least gives you the knowledge you need to understand or ask questions.

For over 60 years, the Plymouth League of Women Voters has acted on its mission of encouraging people to vote, educating voters on issues and candidates, and supporting citizen involvement.

To that end, the League of Women Voters of the Plymouth Area would like to invite all Plymouth residents who pay taxes (and even renters fund real estate taxes through their rent) and want to know what they fund, to attend, watch live or watch after the fact, our program called “Where Do Your Taxes Go?”

This forum will be moderated by the League, but the content comes directly from Derek Brindisi, the town manager and Chris Campbell, the school superintendent, who will both be making 30-minute presentations on Thurs., March 21, at 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of Town Hall. The in-person session is open to all and PACTV will be airing the program live, however you watch PACTV. It will be available on the PACTV YouTube page and at PlymouthLWV.org a few days after the date of the forum.
