Thank you for bringing this to the public’s attention (“Police chief wants to allow guns in Town Hall, other public buildings”). I for one will never attend another Town Hall meeting if Town Meeting members decide to opt out of state law. The public has no idea who is coming in armed. Most likely a wannabe cop who has a drinking problem and an inferiority complex. This seems to be another case of a solution in search of a problem. No thanks.
