Pilgrim Hall Museum February Vacation Week (Plymouth)

Enjoy family-friendly activities and free admission for everyone at Pilgrim Hall Museum from 10am – 1pm February 20th through 23rd, with daily Treasure Hunts for all ages, plus special programs for young learners. All Children Must Be accompanied By an Adult.
Friday, February 23rd
10 am – Mary Brewster’s Reading Circle
One of life’s great pleasures – hearing great children’s books read aloud. Enjoy a lively selection with a dash of history!
11 am – Rhythm Drum Circle
Ed Sorrentino
Percussionist Ed Sorrentino brings the beat with an array of authentic West African drums to get everyone in rhythm! Learn about percussion instruments and join in the drumming circle for an exuberant program of making music with drums from many lands. Sorrentino is Percussion Department Chair of the South Shore Conservatory (SSC) and a certified drum circle facilitator who enjoys working with many diverse populations and has been recognized for his innovative work with adults and children with disabilities.
1 pm – John Porcino, Storyteller Musician
Storyteller John Porcino’s mix of stories and songs come to life with warmth, humor, and a twist of music from around the world.
