Metal Emboss Workshop – Sailboat (Plymouth)

Have you ever wanted to work with a new material but weren’t sure how to get started? Join us in creating your own unique metal embossing as Keely teaches you the necessary skills and techniques to create your own unique metal embossing. Each workshop is designed so we all get started on the same page, at the entry level. To ease into this material, you will start with a tracer. This will allow you to successfully transfer the sailboat to metal. We will then continue working to create texture, details and depth. This is a super fun and forgiving medium to work with.
Your finished piece will be adhered to wood and measure roughly 7.5″ By the end of the night you will have artwork that can easily be showcased on a table, shelf or mantle.
Class starts at 7pm but the doors at Uva open at 6pm so you can come early, get your seats and enjoy some wine, charcuterie and flatbreads with your friends!
