Historic Walking Tour of Lapham Woods (Duxbury)

Join Town Historian, Tony Kelso, for a historic walking tour of Lapham Woods.  Purchased in 1931 and 1952 by the DRHS, Lapham Woods includes approximately 36 acres of land located on either side of the corner at Tremont and Depot Streets. This iconic stretch of wooded property protects the scenic approach to Town Hall and the First Parish Church buildings.
Attendees will park and meet at the Duxbury Senior Center.  The tour will proceed through Mayflower Cemetery then cross Tremont Street to Lapham Woods.
