10th Annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Market Fest (Middleborough)

Get in the holiday spirit right here in Middleborough! A festive weekend of holiday cheer starts Friday when the Middleborough Tourism Committee brings you the 10th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Middleborough Town Hall and continues into Saturday where they will host a Christmas Market Fest in the Town Hall Ballroom.
Join us on the Town Hall Lawn on December 1st from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM for our much-awaited Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Come early to enjoy the Burtwood School Carolers as they entertain with some of your favorite Christmas songs and watch as Santa “flips the switch” and lights the tree at 4:45 pm. Light Refreshments of hot cocoa and cookies will be served. After the tree lighting, stroll into Downtown Middleborough along Main and Center Streets where the Middleborough Merchants bring you their First Friday event and stay open later so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping.
And don’t forget to return on Saturday when the Town Hall Ballroom will be transformed into a Christmas Market Fest.  The Market Fest will run from 12:00 until 5:00 pm with over 20 vendors selling a variety of wares, food truck, kids activities, the Oak Point Train Club, and Santa! Kids can write a letter to Santa and even see him in person.
