Your article (“Lack of restroom access in the business district a ‘going’ concern,” by Mark Pothier, Dec. 7) struck a nerve! As a resident and avid walker, I have many times experienced real trouble looking for a bathroom. Especially in winter.
On the same topic of inhospitable accommodations, have you ever used the bathrooms at Long Beach? Atrocious, disgusting, off-putting and ridiculous considering we are a tourist destination!
I believe that the Town can and should do better.
