Mr. Antall gave a lovely and forward-looking description of the gentrification of Plymouth. With lifelong friends and acquaintances in town I’m always vested in its progress. You may wonder at another aspect of Mr. Vayo’s project. I did, as a Planning Board member, when Mr. Vayo presented his plans for The Drew to the board. What will happen to the mainly elderly tenants of the affordable “rundown” homes being replaced by the build? I was told that they would be “relocated” mostly out of town. I didn’t know them, but I’m sure they had lifelong friends and acquaintances in Plymouth too, and I’d like to recognize their sacrifice for the gentrification of Plymouth.
