Petitions are circulating calling for the creation of a new charter commission with the objective of replacing our present town meeting form of government with a mayor city council form of government.
Be careful for what you wish for. A mayor for Plymouth could be the municipal equivalent of what Trump is for the nation. Do we really want that?
