I just did something I have never done before – I emailed all five of our Select Board members about the decision to reduce the number of polling places. I was respectful and asked each board member to reconsider this decision.
I truly believe in our democratic responsibility to vote our hearts and minds and that this should be made as simple and seamless as possible. I also believe that making such an impactful decision should not be made without some communication with the people it will affect before the decision is made.
I love this town. It is my home, and home is my favorite word and my favorite place.
Please, fellow voters, contact your Select Board. Please Select Board, listen to your constituents.
