The June 26 article in the Plymouth Independent about the 163 condo units proposed for North Plymouth by Pulte Homes of New England LLC on land currently owned by L. Knife & Son, LLC and Eight Mates LLC states that Meg Sheehan, a beneficiary of trusts having an interest – but not a controlling interest – in both L. Knife and Eight Mates, claims that she “opposes the sale” and “believes that the land should be conserved”. There is no reason to disbelieve that, given her long history as an advocate for environmental causes. However, based on the terms of a 2024 Superior Court decision regarding the Sheehan family assets, the fact remains that she stands to receive a portion of the sale proceeds.
