The Van Cott plea deal astounds me. This man has abused his position and stolen from Plymouth taxpayers and school children for years, to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Now he is being given a “deal” that allows him his freedom after just a year of incarceration? He is correct in stating that this is the best choice for him, but what about our town? He should be made to pay a substantial fine as well as incarceration for several years. How about a year for every year of his illegal and unethical behavior
