On Dec. 6, the Sawyer’s Reach 55-plus community at Colony Place held its third annual Toys for Tots event, which turned out to be another very successful evening.

The festive event included raffles, silent auctions, a “Wheel of Fortune” game, and a “lottery tree” door prize. The Sawyer’s Reach community has raised and donated almost $18,000 and contributed more than 800 toys towards the Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program over the last three years.

We would like to give a special thanks to Sean Page, Toys for Tots Plymouth coordinator, who each year volunteers his time and experience to the Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program.

The event would not be as successful without the generosity, kindness, and contributions of the following local vendors, businesses, and restaurants:

Portside Liquors, Bertucci’s, Rose and Vicki’s, Surfside Smokehouse, Olive Garden, Market Basket, East Bay Grill, Plimoth Patuxet Museums, Tavern on the Wharf, The Cabby Shack, LaBaia, The Artisan Pig, La Bamba, 71 West Atlantic Steakhouse, Yin Acupuncture in Plymouth, Waterfront Bar and Grill, Mamma Mia’s/3V/Carmella’s, Made It Gift Store, Alden Park, Ocho, Dillon’s Local, Squirrel Run Country Club, Souther’s Marsh Golf Club, Aristocracy Salon and Day Spa, Jersey Mike’s Subs, 110 Grill, Waverly Oaks Golf Club, Wild Flower Catering, Homegoods/TJMaxx/Marshalls, Café Strega, Terrace Rooftop, KKaties Burgers, Salt, Anejo, Bluefish River Tavern in Duxbury, Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, JFK Museum in Boston, Brockton Country Club, Foxboro Country Club Golf Course, Holly Ridge Country Club, Heritage Gardens in Sandwich, Burtons Bar and Grill in Hingham, and Armand Salon and Spa in Kingston.
