Thank you so much to Julie Davis for her expansive and thoughtful article on The Gregory Peace Prize and our upcoming Plymouth, City of Peace celebration. I would be remiss if I didn’t add that besides the committee members and their group affiliations mentioned in the article, we have had the expertise and support from two additional community groups. From the very beginning of our quest, we have had the experience and wisdom of Plymouth For All, through Peter Matlon and Linda Jones as we shaped our organization and our events. In addition, Susan Nilsin, from the Plymouth Area League of Women Voters has been invaluable in developing our media and internet presence.
We hope that many Plymouth residents will join us on Sept. 20, 2026 at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, to celebrate Peace Week and the recipient of the Lillian and Dick Gregory Peace Prize.
