Jacqueline Margaret Ahola Keane.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Margaret Ahola Keane, who had a 32-year nursing career, died peacefully at her home after an unexpected illness. She was 87.

Born Feb 15, 1939 to the late Alice & Theadore Ahola, she was raised in Quincy with her twin sister, was involved in many clubs during her school years, and enjoyed a 32-year nursing career where she retired as director of health care at the May Institute in Chatham.

She is survived by three daughters, Beth Keane of Plymouth and her children Brandon, David and Kimberly Keane:.Kristen Sinewick and her husband Frank of Plymouth and their children, Allison, Alexis and Abigail Sinewick; Erin Peterson and Joshua Pabst and her son Ethan Peterson. She is also survived by her twin sister Jeanne Ahola Conway, her goddaughter Robbin Delaney and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Theodore Ahola Jr., and her sister, Deborah Ahola Pierce.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd.

A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 at St. Francis Church in Weymouth, MA. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Celebration of life will follow at East Bay Grille in Plymouth.
