Joseph A. Leandro Jr.

Joseph Leandro Jr., who served with the town Department of Public Works for 34 years, died peacefully June 17 in his home. He was 7It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph A. Leandro Jr., who left us peacefully at his home in Plymouth on June 17, 2026. B

Born March 4, 1952 to the late Joseph and Marie E. (Vitti) Leandro, he graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School in 1970 and retired as a DPW maintenance supervisor. He was a member of both the Garibaldi Club and the Seaside Club in Plymouth and had a passion for fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his brother, Timothy Leandro of Plymouth; nephews Matthew and his wife, Ryan;  Nicholas Leandro and great nieces and nephews Rae, Beau, and Marley Leandro. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Leandro.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 29 at Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home located at 373 Court St., North Plymouth, to be followed by a funeral service. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth.
