Believe it or not, the annual town election is right around the corner on Saturday, May 16. The Town Clerk’s Office encourages all voters to participate to build a strong, consensus-driven local government. Ahead of the election we wanted to share a few reminders to ensure a smooth, hassle-free voting experience.

All voters must be registered with the Town of Plymouth to vote in any election. Did you move recently? Not sure if you’re registered? Check or update your registration status online today or swing by our office. Voters must register no later than Wednesday, May 6 at 5 p.m. to vote in the upcoming Town Election.

Don’t forget: You must apply every single calendar year to vote by mail. Just because you voted by mail previously does not mean you will be mailed a ballot for this election. Apply to vote by mail online or visit the Town Clerk’s Office for a paper application before Monday, May 11 at 5 pm. The sooner the better.

As always, early voting will be available in the Glass Atrium on the 1st floor of Town Hall from Thursday, May 7 to Wednesday, May 13. Town Hall business hours during the week and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekends. Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Last year the Select Board voted to update polling locations for all elections moving forward. We highly recommend you verify your polling location ahead of Election Day to ensure you head to the right place.

If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the Town Clerk’s Office at 26 Court St or call 508-322-3433.
