Tracy A. (Mello) Murphy, a lifelong Plymouth resident, died peacefully on Jan. 19 at BID hospital Plymouth. She was 65.
Born May 6, 1960, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary L. (Juliani) Mello. Tracy was educated in the Plymouth Schools and was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School. She further pursued higher education at Westfield State College, earning associate and bachelor’s degrees.
She worked many years in the central scheduling department at Jordan Hospital / BID Hospital Plymouth and enjoyed traveling with her longtime companion, Joseph “Joe” Bergman. She also treasured time at home with her beloved dog, Jewels, finding joy cooking, reading, and time with her family.
Her warmth, generosity, and thoughtful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel Murphy of Plymouth and Jack Murphy of Milton; her longtime companion, Joseph Bergman of Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Julie Juliani.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 at St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court Street, North Plymouth. Burial will be private.
