Tina R. Conran, of Plymouth, a manager at Amtrak for more than 30 years, died peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 15th. She was 66.
Born Sept. 16, 1960, in Westerly, RI, to the late Kenneth and Helen (Dahlgren) Jacobson, she grew up in Ashaway, RI, later graduating from St. Augustine High School, in FL, before attending trade school.
She was a manager at Amtrak more than 30 years.
She is remembered for her love of the water and White Horse Beach, and her love of adventure, including skydiving.
She is survived by her sister Ronda J. Welch and her husband, Robert, of Ashaway, RI; her nephews Chad and Cole Welch; her niece Chelsey Quinn; her cats Louie and Miss Kitty; and her dog, Taz.
She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth W. Jacobson, Jr.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road. A funeral service will follow.
