Norma Alyce (Tompkins) Pacheco

Norma Alyce (Tompkins) Pacheco of Carver, formerly of Plymouth, died peacefully at Newfield House in Plymouth on Feb. 11. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Pacheco.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on March 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Wilford and Alice (Bonny) Tompkins. She was educated in the Rockland schools and a graduate of Rockland High school Class of 1949. She went on to attend Hanover Beauty School. Norma worked as a hair stylist for most of her life.

She is survived by her children, Linda White of Plymouth, Edward Pacheco Jr. and his wife Maryjane of Carver, Timothy Pacheco and his wife Patricia of Jacksonville, Florida, Diane Haley and her late husband Glen of Plymouth, and Sandra Sanderson and her partner Butch Machado of Carver.

She was the cherished grandmother of Edward III, Regina, Amanda, Shannon-Alyce, Donna Lee, Glen, James and Caitlyn. She was the great grandmother of 15.

Visiting hours in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 373 Court St., Plymouth, will be held on Monday Feb. 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11a.m. Burial will take place at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
