Michael Berube of Plymouth, formerly of Westwood, died peacefully on Sept. 9, following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 75.
Born Dec. 6, 1950, in Boston, to the late Elizabeth (Betty) and Felix (Buddy) Berube.
A graduate of Brookline High School and the Wentworth Institute in Boston, he was a master electrician for more than 50 years, with a successful electrical contracting business serving the Boston Metro and Norfolk County areas.
Family and friends remember him for his generosity, donating his time and skills to Habitat for Humanity, his love of the water, and his ability to delight his grandchildren with dolphin sounds and spirited pony rides on his back.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsay A. (Henderson) Berube; his son. Michael Luke Berube and daughter-in-law Shannon; his daughter, Tiffany Berube-Lenart and her husband Christopher; four grandchildren: Charlotte, Emma, Andrew Berube, and Luca Lenart; and brothers Peter, Paul, Patrick, and Matthew Berube.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St., North Plymouth, followed by a memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The family also wishes to extend gratitude to Bridges of Epoch Pembroke for their compassionate care and to Trinity Hospice for their unwavering support.
