In support of [the] article about excessive noise from motorcycles and other vehicles, it seems likely that the loud noise is the result of modified exhaust systems intended to create loud, obnoxious sound. Are not such modifications a violation of RMV regulations? If so, the offending motor vehicles should be impounded until repaired.
