Federal law enforcement and federal law supersedes state and local law.

ICE agents are sworn to uphold the law, and, as we have all been apprised repeatedly, “No one is above the law,” which should include all who entered our country without vetting and without permission. Those interfering with law enforcement are subject to fine, arrest or imprisonment. Also, “doxing” anyone, including federal officers, is singularly intended to harm and intimidate. While doxing is not a crime, yet the consequences can be serious particularly as it pertains to law enforcement officers. Yet, Plymouth Independent published a photo of an ICE agent, presumably without permission, risking harm to that officer. Those federal officers were not visiting Plymouth for trivial reasons. ICE agents are not required to notify anyone of their operations. Lori Fitzpatrick was sorely out of line.
