The annual town election is underway now, and concludes with in-person voting on Saturday, May 16. For everyone registered to vote, there’s still time to get up to speed. Here’s a final-days primer.

WHAT’S ON THE BALLOT?

Voters will elect two members to the five-member Select Board. There are four candidates running, including two incumbents. The winners will serve three-year terms. Read profiles of the candidates here. Read a story on their campaign spending here.

One five-year seat is in play on the Planning Board, with only one candidate, incumbent Frank Mand, on the ballot.

There are two open seats for three-year terms on the School Committee. Five candidates are competing. Read their profiles here

Voters will also decide on Town Meeting representatives (which are precinct specific). Positions on the Redevelopment Authority and Housing Authority are on the ballot but uncontested.

You can see a sample ballot here.

WHEN AND HOW TO VOTE

Voting concludes on election day itself, Saturday, May 16. But in-person and mail-in voting has been ongoing. The last day to vote early in-person (at Town Hall) was Wednesday, May 13.

For those who requested a mail-in ballot and have not yet mailed it, the deadline is 7 p.m. on May 16 to get it to Town Hall. It is probably already too late to drop it in the mail.

For those planning to vote in person on election day, it’s important to go to the right polling place. A list can be found here.

To check for the right polling place, read this zoomable precinct map. Then use this online form to confirm the correct  polling place.
