Welcome to the Culture section of the Plymouth Independent. A thriving culture scene makes for a vibrant town, and we want to help make that happen.

Culture is where you’ll find stories and listings about arts, authors, comedy, live music, theater, workshops, and more. If you have a listing for the column – which is written and curated by Ann Archambault – send an email to listings@plymouthindependent.org or annie@plymouthindependent.org. Listings must be submitted at least 10 days in advance of your event.

We want this section to be as inclusive as possible, meaning reach out if you’re planning an open studio or a street art event or anything creative that might float outside the mainstream.

If there’s cost associated with your event – like a cover charge for a band – please include that information. And whenever possible, attach a good quality jpeg with caption details. (Please, no type on the image.) Listings with visuals are bound to attract more eyeballs.
