Adam J. McGinn, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, April 28, following a short illness. He was 40.
Born in Weymouth on Dec. 13,1985 to Denise (Cox) McGinn and Brendan McGinn, both of Plymouth, he grew up in Kingston and attended Silver Lake Regional High School. He began his career working with his father at SLT Construction and later continued with him at B&E Excavating.
His family and friends remember him for his incredible skill with heavy machinery, his adventurous spirit and his deep love for motorcycles and dirt bikes.
He is survived by his parents, his stepmother Diane McGinn; sister Lindsay McGinn, of Plymouth; his uncles Don Cox, Dwayne Cox, and Fran McGinn and his wife Donna; and aunts Diane Cox, Dori Herider, Joanne Earner and her husband John, Susan Frodigh and her husband Chick. He is also survived by his dear friend, Emily Bailey of Biddeford, ME, and many cousins.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St North, Plymouth. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. the following day at St. Mary’s Church with burial to follow at Central Cemetery, Pembroke.
