Long before the curtain rises and the first notes of music fill the theater, something extraordinary is already happening. Behind every graceful movement and every magical moment are months of dedication, countless rehearsals, and young dancers pouring their hearts into something they love.
This December, six talented Plymouth girls — Scarlette, Tessa, Josie, Elliana, Cosette, and Sirena – will proudly take the stage in Dreamworks Ballet annual production of The Nutcracker in Kingston, alongside a wonderful cast of other DPAC dancers from surrounding communities.
Under the exceptional leadership of studio owner Miss Amanda and studio manager Miss Heather, these young performers are part of something truly special. With breathtaking choreography, beautiful costumes, and remarkable attention to detail, this production transforms a beloved holiday classic into an unforgettable experience.
But perhaps the most beautiful part happens long before opening night. It’s the dedication of children who show up week after week, the friendships formed through shared determination, and the confidence that grows with every rehearsal. It’s a reminder that extraordinary things happen when young dreams are met with extraordinary encouragement.
The community is invited to experience this holiday magic at Kingston Intermediate School, with an evening performance on Saturday, Dec. 12, and an early-afternoon performance on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2026.
For ticket information, visit Dreamworks Performing Arts Center on Facebook or social media. Your support helps celebrate these dedicated young performers and the studio that nurtures their passion.
