Susan M. (Gosselin) Adragna, a paraprofessional with Plymouth schools and head of the Plimoth Commons Social Club, died Saturday, April 25 surrounded by family at her home. She was 79.
Born June 11, 1946, in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (Ventura) Gosselin. She grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School. She worked in the banking industry and in her later years as a paraprofessional in the Plymouth School System for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Francis; three children Amy Baker of Plymouth, Francine Armstrong and her husband Vincent of Lancaster, NH, and Joseph Adragna and his wife Shannon of Plymouth; grandchildren Nicholas Baker, Maria Baker, Anthony Sliney, Joseph Sliney, and Jae-Min Adragna, and a great grandchild Austin Baker.
She is also survived by her brother Edmond Gosselin of Medfield, her sister Carol Ball and her husband John of Chicago, IL, and many nieces, nephews, and friends, including her special nephew Dan Ameen and his wife Liz of Weymouth, her best friend from elementary school, Janice Mastropietro of Plymouth and her son-in-law, Christopher Baker of Plymouth. Susan was preceded in deathd by her sister, Ruthie Palmer.
A visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. May 7 at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. Plymouth. A mass will take place at 11 a.m. the following day at St. Bonaventure’s Church. Burial will follow at Manomet Cemetery.
