I am writing in response to the recent article regarding the boiler failure and the ongoing maintenance challenges at Memorial Hall.

Given that Memorial Hall is a century-old landmark in “America’s Hometown” with significant 20th-century cultural history, has there been any consideration toward applying for federal government grants in Washington to fund these repairs?

This building is a vital piece of our local architecture that has hosted generations of residents from Plymouth and the surrounding towns. It seems appropriate to seek national preservation funding to address the current disrepair and ensure its long-term viability.

I hope the town officials find a resolute solution that honors the historical and architectural importance of this venue.
