Irene Renate Barron passed away on Dec. 18 at age 74 with her husband, Howard, and daughter, Stacy, by her side. She also leaves behind her son-in-law, Justin Minihane, and grandchildren, Tim and Natalie Minihane, among others.
After meeting Howard while he served in the US Air Force in Germany, she made a home in Plymouth for over 50 years while holding her German roots close. Irene treasured spending time with her family and particularly her grandchildren, baking for those she loved, playing cards and games, reading, gardening, music, traveling, tennis, pickleball, chocolate, and picking blueberries in Maine.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services, but donations in her name can be made to the Friends of Plymouth Center for Active Living.
